Unlike most of these 'secret' heroes Tyrone Gar couldn't hide himself away. Being the only son of 70s and 80s hero Felicity Gar a.k.a. "Tiger-Girl" her magically altered form was passed on with the first of a series of mutations, his furry, patterned coat and a tail.

Growing up a tiger-boy was a chore with most kids scared to go near him since those that taunted him were often pounced on. Labelled a troublemaker his mother took him back home where he was taught to practise discipline and control. One day the bored adolescent Tyrone hypnotised his trainer and went out for some fun. Ending up in a club a group of bikers bent on tearing the place apart became the first instance of Tyrone actually fighting for a cause. Eventually managing to best them single-handed he began a more serious outlook on the hero business.
