They say that for every choice made, good or bad, a timeline splits and creates another alternate universe. Taliesen, had no idea that choices he could have made to stay behind, alone, after the death of his partner and lover would result in a darker split-off. The result of this decision split into Moonlight Nocturne. After struggles with his own loneliness and thirst for power to right the wrongs of Paragon as well as revenge the death of his lover, dark Taliesen fell to the corruption of that hunger for power and wound up in Zigursky and subsequently in the hands of a dark mentalist.

Through the help and faith of his now partner (in more ways than one) Sunburst Corona, he has clawed his way back from the darkside, out of the grime of Rogue Isles and returned to take his place in Paragon in the position that his alternate reality has achieved, hoping to someday be redeemed for the murderous crimes he committed and become a hero of the city, as well.
