Character Bio

Life in old Mrs. Parker's flower box was paradise. I would float in a bubble at the kitchen window to watch musicals on her TV. My favorite was My Fair Lady. I hummed along with Eliza Doolittle while I knocked aphids off leaves. "I could have danced all night, I could have danced all night ..." I didn't really belong there, but no one seemed to mind, not even the other bugs. I was happy hiding in the flower box. Then one day Mrs. Parker needed help, so I flew down to the street and confused some bad men who tried to take her purse. I darted under a rose when the police came, but Mrs. Parker didn't tell them about me. Later I found a treat of tea and scones on the window sill with a note that said "Thank you, My Fair Lady Bug." Then I spread my wings and did a thousand things I'd never done before, and I "danced, danced, danced all night."
