Character Bio

After averting widespread chaos, not only in Paragon City but also to the rest of the world, James Shin was ready to face his ultimate challenge. In Praetorian Earth, his alternate self named Maddux ventured to an alternate earth ( earth 357), and proclaimed himself ruler of that world. Maddux single handedly vanquished its protectors and enslaved the human race. As foretold by the Oracle from the Order of Light, Shin ventured forth to this alternate Earth and faced Maddux. Both were evenly matched as they rain blows upon each other. The earth itself shook from the energies they released. It was Hopeless for Shin to defeat him until he came to a revelation. Realizing he was the template for Maddux, if he ceased to exist then so will Maddux . With one final release of energy, Shin sacrificed his life and thus ended Maddux's reign. Since he defeated Maddux, Shin attained the final level of ascendency. He was reborn, a being of pure energy, once again right the cosmic balance between good and evil.
