Well Alex's mother never lost her hair in that perma-Nair formula chemical explosion and hos dad left arm isn't robotic anymore. They also gave Alex superpowers because they thought it be grand to have a 'super' in the family. That's the Good news. The bad news is that he not is the person he was before all this started. His whole life has been switched on him, but he remembers everything the way it was before the trip in the "Time Van." Now his friends are different, his life is different and well... pretty much everything is.
