This was the beginning.
The savage attack that destroyed the Starlight Coven was quick and merciless. Everything was smashed or stolen and the mystics left for dead. Those few that escaped grieved for their lost companions and did their beset to gather the bits and pieces that remained. Grief evolved into anger and then into hardened resolve. Too many times they had kept to the path of light and refused to take action to ensure their safety. Though it darkens the souls of those who choose change, that time is over.
One was chosen among them, willing to walk the cutting edge between protection and retribution. The last hidden relic they possessed, the Chain of Fate was given over in ritual to bind the power of all into one. They are mortal now, and soon no more, their power, their sadness and now their hope all bound into one body. No more a mortal name, there is only Mystic Edge.
