Character Bio

Chelsea Doyle lost most of her friends at age 15 when she was pushed into a swimming pool. The sudden shock triggered Doyle's latent mutant powers, projecting an uncontrollable electric field which electrocuted everyone else in the pool. For months after, Chelsea was unable to be in close proximity with anyone.
Chelsea's isolation ended when she met Victoria Cassidy, a gadgeteer noted for her work with superheroes. Tori designed a body suit that shut down Chelsea's electric field, allowing her to live a normal life. Sadly, Chelsea quickly realized that although nobody blamed her for what happened, people's reactions to her left her unable to actually pick up where she left off.
Chelsea tracked Tori to Paragon City, and the two of them began tweaking Chelsea's suit to give Chelsea greater control over her powers, as well as miniaturizing the tech so that Chelsea can dress normally when she wishes. Ultimately, Chelsea was able to put the power that killed her friends to use protecting the world.
