Character Bio

Belinda Hawke was raised by her champion archer father to be a professional competition shooter. Groomed for the 2004 Olympics, her abilities soon exceeded those of her dad. However, she was disqualified when experts determined that her phenomenal success was due not only to intensive training and talent but due to a previously unknown mutant ability to telekinetically guide the arrows to the target. Distraught, she stumbled through a series of meaningless jobs before taking up the bow again and finding new uses for her abilities. Stints as a hunting guide, gameskeeper, and small game hunter reconnected her with her training, and gave her an opportunity to explore her mutant ability, not only to guide the arrows but to control the target, and to boost her own movement with telekinetic thrusts. Now she works full time as a Paragon PD consultant and special agent, hunting criminals in the guise of Bloodhawke.
