Character Bio

Samuel Blythe's father was a fireman killed in the line of duty when Sam was a child.  After his father's death Sam declared that he would make it unnecessary for any fireman to ever die again.  Upon graduating college he began working on what he termed the Cryo-Suit, an amazingly advanced piece of technology that used cryonics to douse fires.

Sam arrived home after working late one night to discover his house ablaze.  The Paragon fire department had responded but were too late. Sam's wife died in the fire, which was found to be the result of arson perpetrated by the Hellions. Sam donned the Cryo-Suit and went in pursuit of the Hellions.  On that night the hero Arctic Paladin was born.  Sam now has a new mission in life: to honor the memory of his lost loved ones by protecting all of Paragon from evil.
