Character Bio

Psyche was born Cari Jo Smith, a normal girl from New Sparta City and going to school at Acadia High School. She was always an outcast, quiet and sitting at the back of the class where she was made fun of for her gothic style of dress.

One day, the teasing turned into something far worse. Driving drunk, four teens from her school decided to chase her around in their car to terrorize her some. While running and scared, Cari fell and was run down by the car that was right behind her. Frightened, the teens fled the scene and left her to die. Just as her heart stopped, a power awakened in young Cari transforming her forever. She found she was able to literally do anything with her mind - fly, teleport, enhance her own abilities, even make herself impervious to harm. Armed with these new powers, she tracked down the teens and slaughtered them. Eventually, her anger consumed her and she became one of the universe's strongest villains. Now, she has reformed her ways and fights for good.
