Character Bio

Walter Gray lived a long uneventful life with his wife of 50+ years. They had been enjoying their retirement together living happily in the mundane. He supplemented their retirement income with his hobby of gardening for a local church, tending the grounds and neglected cemetary. That is, until the Rikti invasion. During a battle between Statesman and a Rikti War Craft carrying an experimental biological warfare chemical, Walter Gray and his wife were tending the Church garden. The battle carried over to the Church, trapping him and wife beneath rubble. Walter Gray was within hands reach of his trapped and dying wife, but he could do nothing as she screamed for help. Above, Statesman carried the crippled Rikti warship out to space, as he knew it would explode, releasing the strange biological terrors within. Unbeknowest to Statesman, some of the strange ooze had already covered Walter Gray and infused him into the garden. Seeing Statesman fly away, Walter Gray blames all Heroes for his wife's death.
