Character Bio

The Gentleman was one of the very rare outsiders to be allowed contact on Japanese soil during The Kamakura Period (12th century) Feudal Japan. A seafaring trader, he brought, goods, spices, and rare items for trade. Developing a close relationship with Yorimoto, a high general of the Shogunate, he caught the eye of his daughter, and she his. Secretly, she elloped with the this gaijin. In a rage, Yorimoto ordered his best Ninja Soldiers to return with his daughter. In a horrible mishap, his daughter died, saving The Gentleman to flee on his ship. Full of 'remorse' and guilt, Yorimoto then ordered his Sorcerors to curse the Ninja Soldiers involved in his daughters death, to never know peace, until the Gentleman is returned ALIVE to Japan for punishment. Knowing this, and full of sorrow, he took his own life in front of the Ninja Soldiers before they could. The Ninja, failing their orginal mission, now bring back the soul of The Gentleman to their Lord, for they are not his PROTECTORS, they are his JAILORS!
