Character Bio

Trisha Riley's little brother Sam was incredibly jealous of the fact that she was born a mutant, and more than just a little upset that most of her illusion-controlling practical jokes fell squarely upon him. So it's understandable that he did his best to upstage his sister at any opportunity, especially in school.

Oddly enough, it was one of his sister's practical jokes during the annual science fair that gave him the super powers he so desperately wanted. She ruined his chances getting the covetted blue ribbon, but caused him to permanently fuse with his Portable Singularity Generator--thus giving him incredible powers over gravity!

Sam's body naturally compensated by allowing him to expell the energy his new black hole self sucked from his enemies to aid his friends and to absorb even light, hiding himself completely from vision.

When he and his sister became official super heroes, their name choices were clear: he was Out Of Sight, and she was Out Of Mind.
