I am not her. Never forget that. I know I did, for a while. I thought I was a phantom. An abandoned shard. Discarded and forgotten. 

I have chosen not to be discarded. I will not be forgotten.  I choose to carve out my own destiny, my own purpose, not cling to the coat-tails of someone who I never wish to be, and not to chase something I never need. In essence, I will not define myself by what has gone before, in terms of someone who I am not.
