Character Bio

Malina was wandering a small RI beach one day, reflecting on her past  disappointments. She had lost count of the number of times she had been abandoned and disowned by her parents, and the multitude of foster homes she had been living in was incredible. Finally, when she thought that everything had been reconciled with her parents' divorce, an earthquake shook the ground and caused both of their new Porches to collide with each other in some crazy form of divine justice.
As she was walking, she caught sight of a small, shiny, blood-red shell amidst the waves. When she took hold of it, her dark past seemed to flow out of her body, making the air around her smokey black. While she was originally fearful of this charm, she kept it because while it did not cause the darkness of her heart to go away, it seemed to vanquish the darkness in those around her, making those who survive on evil writhe in pain, and those who have light in their hearts be healed.
