Little is known of the background of the man known as Deuce Black Omega. His powers and thick Irish accent have lead some intelligence officials to believe that he is a Dark Defender operating out of Ireland who disappeared more than a decade ago. Physical identification, however, has been inconclusive. Possible surgical alteration [cross-reference file: Malta-D23674] It has been confirmed that until recently, he was a Malta Tactical Squad leader. It is also not known why he left the Malta organization, much less how, but he retains at least some of the Malta-administered programming. Agent Indigo is investigating further.
