Character Bio

Chad Gulzow-Man comes from an alternate Earth where the planet was attacked by aliens. This sad event and the near-extinction of the human race unlocked the innate abilities of some survivors, and somehow Chad not only survived but became the mightiest hero alive.

After defeating the aquatic alien overlord Giga Garu alongside his best friend Jason, the two were begged to lead the survivors. Chad won their game of rock-paper-scissors, and thus got out of becoming their king. However, now in charge, Jason commanded Chad Gulzow-Man to become the world's defender, and to take training from a legendary martial arts master in Japan. He set sail from the US east coast in a small boat, bringing only food, the clothes on his back and his enchanted katana Ganbare.

Before reaching Japan, though, Chad encountered a freak electrical storm that wrecked his boat and tossed him into the ocean. He awoke later on the shore of Paragon City. Now he looks for a way home... in between rounds of badge collecting, of course.
