Once a spy for the KGB, Kreid Vazanof was a master at stealth operations, becauase of his natural ability to manipulate energy. But one day the KGB decided that they needed more if they were going to grow, and thought Kreid would be the answer. They performed an experiment that would make his bones more powerful. This would enable Kreid to take a punch, and deal a stronger one. But the stolen spells acquired for the job were miscast, and Kreid Vazanof bone's grew an unreal rate. poison began to run through them. The KGB could no longer use Kreid in their operations because he would blow their cover from this. They then decided that an inside job in the Rouge Isles would be better suited for Kreid. No one still has a full picture of what Kreid is doing in the Rouge Isles, but when the KGB is involved, it can't be good.
