Character Bio

The parallel world of Jadar once existed three doors down from our own. Their Shiva deluged the world in necroplasm. The great wizard Jorion concentrated the life essences of the dead into his infant son Kalion, preventing the rising of Shivans. The boy was sent from the doomed world to ours. Kalion grew up to become the hero Penultimate. Unkown to Penultimate, a small group of survivors fled to the tallest mountain peak, now a slowly dying island. Jorion and his wife Chirelle conceived a second child. This girl, Carelle, was born into a world of the dead. Jadar's spell empowering "my child" meant Carelle was born with the potential to become almost as powerful as her brother, and often scryed with her father to watch his heroic deeds. The waters again began to rise. Jorion used the last of his power to send Carelle after her brother. Over time, she joined him as his sidekick Penultima. Since Penultimate left with Omega Team, she has been trying to live up to his legacy, forever in his absent shadow.
