Tony Chapel was a waster, a real couch potato - not like his promising-lawyer brother, Marcus. That all changed when the Circle of Thorns decided to pick Marcus as their latest sacifice.
In the raid that followed the Circle left Tony for dead.
He was dead.
Briefly.
The spirits had been watching the raid, and one decided that Paragon City was a den of sin too large to go unopposed.
Now, with the spirit of Tomas de Torquemada and the powers of the dead aiding him, Marcus has trained to become the hammer of the witches. The sins of Paragon City are about to be redeemed.
