Raised by Scientologist parents, Denise Maxwell was indoctrinated in the usual ways. Counseling, therapy sessions involving being tied to a chair and locked in a closet, and mega doses of vitamins guaranteed to destroy your health and mind in the amounts given. But instead of having her life destroyed she gained power, power unlocked through the life she led with her cult...err, religion. But where do you go from there? And so when Arachnos freed her from the Zig where she had been incarcerated for assisting in a "tough love" style therapy session resulting in the death of the subject, she found a new religion...and a new leader in Ghost Widow.
