Guinevere Ferguson always thought her florist mother was kidding when she said the secret to her extraordinary green thumb was fairy blood. However, when Vera turned 18, her mother explained that many generations ago their bloodline had a fairy ancestor, that ancestor had passed a supernatural control over plants to her firstborn, and the power had passed along all the way to her ? and then to Vera.
Vera knew that, unlike her mother, she would not be content to simply use her abilities as a florist. Armed with her powers, her mother's special seeds, and her archery hobby, she set out to become a superhero. When she's not on patrol, she does work for her mother, who is very grateful for the help, as Vera's superhero activities have brought increased attention to their business.
