Character Bio

Exotica - the only name provided this orphan by the provincial inhabitants of Bella Morte, a small coastal community bordering the misty fogs of Rogue Isles. They awoke to church bells and a small child's wails as inauspicious hands had left her in their holy place, rung the old iron, and pinned a note to her oddly fashioned dress.

The French pirate's tome read simply: "Elle est votre problame maintenant. J'ai vole la mauvaise cargaison fausse d'un vesseau etranger et je ne peux garder une telle malchance sur mon bateau. Elle n'est pas Francaise."

Poorly educated fishermen that they were, the translation took some time. "She is your problem now. I done stolen the wrong cargo from a foreign ship and cannot keep such bad luck in me boat. She is not French." But the translation of "foreign ship" was woefully short of the impossible truth; she actually hailed from a sunken alien vessel. The town was lost to an odd scourge within a week - radiation. Now grown, she is never granted residence in any port.
