Character Bio

Like many teenagers, Dawn Flynn was excited to get her driver's license. The night after she passed her test, she was coming home from celebrating with her friends when she lost control of the car and crashed into a building. One of her friends was killed in the crash, the other walked away unharmed, and Dawn was left in a coma with severe damage to her brain.
With prospects for a full recovery grim, Dawn's parents were referred to doctor who offered to try an experimental procedure on Dawn. Her parents quickly accepted, and the treatment was a wild success; Dawn recovered and was virtually unchanged from before the accident, except that she was now a powerful psychic. Although she helped the doctor find a way to avoid giving everyone who undergoes the procedure psychic abilities, Dawn has elected to keep hers, using them to protect Paragon City and aid its other heroes.
