My people have been one with the Thunderbird for time eternal.  Our souls ride the wind with him, and our hearts hear his cry.  Our very nature is touched at birth, and he bestows each of us with gifts.  Mine are strength and quills; poison and a hearty constitution.  Like my mother before me, I bear his mark and my children will each have their own. We are his children, in both body and spirit.  We can no more separate ourselves from his presence than we can stop breathing and live.  He is all and I am he.  I am Thunderbird...I am Wakiya!..
