Character Bio

Despite growing up in the Rogue Isles, David Roberts has always been a happy, optimistic, easy-going guy. It's easy to be happy and carefree when you're... well, lucky. Davy has always been lucky. He got good grades without having to study too hard, he got cushy jobs, fast raises, and he always seemed to be finding money laying around that nobody else wanted. Because of that, he was surprised but not alarmed when two Fortunatas entered the office where he worked as a high-paid, low-accountability manager.

They told him that he had vast psychic power, and he agreed to undergo testing. For the first time in his life, Davy didn't do well on a test. He got the lowest scores possible for precognition, telepathy, telekinesis, ESP and empathy. Despite registering as a high-grade psychic mind, he had no measurable psychic power to speak of. Frustrated, the recruitment team made him a Huntsman.

Davy still isn't sure how he became a powerful member of Arachnos' elite. "Just lucky, I guess."
