Character Bio

Drake Stevens inherited his love of birds from his father, Edward. When Drakes father was murdered, Drake devised the Airman costume to bring the criminals to justice, and thereby launching his career as a crimefighter. Airman's abilities are partly mechanical and partly natural. His costume allows him to emulate certain characteristics of birds. His artificial wings and jet pack allow him to fly at speeds up to 150 mph for short periods. The average speed capacity of his jet-powered wings is 60 mph. This speed can be maintained for an undetermined amount of time. The "claws" built into his boots of his costume are capable of ripping through solid steel. Hydraulics in his claws allow him to cling to precarious perches and lift objects many times his size.
