Character Bio

Sarah Rose was a typical 1950s housewife... devoted to husband and children, avid gardener, apparently normal in every way. Her husband, on the other hand, was a bit paranoid about preparing for nuclear armageddon. During a practice run in the family bomb shelter, a freak pipeline rupture and resultant explosion buried the entire family. Her husband and children perished, but Sarah's latent mutant talents activated and left her in a state of hibernation. Finally unearthed by construction workers in 1997, her guilt, her discomfort with her new powers, and a general disbelief at the changes in the world have combined and left her seriously unhinged, and she has taken to acting out with her newfound powers to avenge herself on a world that she does not in the least understand.
