The Circle of Thorns thought it would be cute to bind the soul of a long-dead priestess into a young woman's corpse. They were wrong.

Celebrant Aine was most displeased to be torn from her richly-deserved rewards in her afterlife. She was enraged that she had been locked into the defiled corpse of an innocent. And she was filled with wrath because her powers over nature had been diminished by the unnatural union of her soul with this corpse.

The former High Priestess of Dana feigned service until an opportune moment, when she slew the arrogant mystics who had subverted the natural order. She then set out to hinder the Circle in any way she might.
