Character Bio

Paul Tanner is a high-rise construction worker, used to high places and hard work, but never really thought of himself as particularly special. One of the rarest types of mutants, Paul's cold-based powers did not manifest until he hit middle-age, and their emergence has placed his life at a crossroads. On the one hand is his family and his career, on the other, the sense of a duty owed to society. The recent incidental wounding of his college-age son in the crossfire from a Skulls-Hellions turf battle has driven him to join GIFT to help stem the madness in the streets. Rebuilding the city by day and defending it by night, Polaris Major has truly dedicated his life to Paragon City.
