Character Bio

The Carnival Ring Mistress stood on the bridge and gazed down at the churning sea below. How long had it been? How long had she been a puppet for DeVore, forced to kill, steal and cause mayhem? She had no memory of a past life, of family or friends. The only thing she knew was that it was finally at an end. New mutant abilities had emerged and she was now capable of fighting the mental domination of the Carnival leader. Tonight she would remove the mask, regain her memories and her old life. She reached up and tore the mask from her face, throwing it into the sea below. The physical pain was exquisite but it was the sudden flood of old memories that forced her to her knees. She had expected her memories to give her salvation but they actually brought damnation. Her family had been killed, mere playthings for DeVore. She had nothing, was nothing. But she could kill and do it well, DeVore had seen to that. She would take her inner torment and be reborn as the ultimate killer with the Carnival in her sights.
