Character Bio

Karl Larsson has always been intrigued with the inner workings of the human mind, and has spent countless hours in his labs, studying neurobiology and the biochemistry of the brain. One day, a pack of Skulls broke into his lab in search of chemicals for Dyne, and in a disappointed rage, injected Karl with a devil's brew of his experimental samples and left him to die. Fortunately, the chemicals and neural tissues did not slay him, but rather brought out his latent psychic abilities, also leaving him with a damaged right eye and strange blue lesions on his skin. Thankful for his survival and relative good fortune, he has now taken to the streets of Paragon City to protect others from all menaces like those which have remade him as.... the Sapphire Knight!
