Character Bio

April Evans was an adventurous child, growing up on her father's farm south of Paragon City., making long forays into the surrounding farms and forests to look for lost paths and hidden groves. One day, exploring an apparently abandoned farmhouse, she stumbled upon an ancient wizard performing a rejuvenation ritual, draining life from a faerie princess encased in amber. Terrified but determined to stop the vicious act, April interfered with the ritual, slaying the wizard and freeing the faerie. Dying from long imprisonment and misuse, the faerie was still grateful to the precocious child for her release, and transferred what little remained of her lifeforce to April to use "as her heart saw fit". Now a college freshman, April has come to Paragon City ostensibly to study archaeology, but truly to hone her fae-granted powers, and continue fighting to protect the innocent as the Avenging Pixie!
