Character Bio

Dr. Joseph Monroe was already in his late 80's when the Rikti attacked Paragon City. His body to worn with time to fight them he still had his mind, the mind of a brilliant nanite engineer.

Thus he created the Model BC33J3R Melee Assault Nanodrod. The nanites 'healed' the Model BC33J3R of damage while it's diamond alloy claws tore through Rikti battle armor. Being a nanodrod the Model BC33J3R is highly resistant to Rikti Psionic attacks and moves at such speeds that it can move around Rikti undetected.

Joseph's great grandson David, age 4, upon seeing the name BC33J3R on the Nanodrod said the name as a word, Besieger. Joseph inspired by the translation programmed the prime function of the BC33J3R to besiege the Rikti ship at the crash site and contain the Rikti threat.
