(RP's) Kuwait. Desert Storm. Oil fires. The Millville Gazette scraped up the money to send me there for a three-week, "live from the front" series of articles, reporting everything our boys were doing over there. They thought I got the missing eye from a pack of Iraqi fighters; it was a barroom brawl over a Marine and his hoochie-mama. It wasn't until I got back, when I realized I could steal people's thunder; both their thoughts and their power. I thought about heading to the Isles, but then realized I wasn't powerful enough for their Darwinistic attitude. Hey, I know when I'm outmatched. Millville fired me after they found out I faked most of the Pulitzer Prize winning stories, so now I'm here, doing my own version of commando journalism, "blogging" about a new war.
