Character Bio

Shadesteel had once been one of Black Swan's shadow guards before devoting himself to a life of heroism. As a nameless slave in Black Swan's legion, he served her without question, mindlessly carrying out her wishes without a will of his own. Over the years that Shadesteel served Black Swan there were many who tried to oppose her, but all met their end at the hands of her shadowy legion until a hero known as Nikkolas approached and stood amongst the shadows. He cut through Swan's minions until only she remained. Nikkolas slew Black Swan in a vicious battle but the shadow had survived and turned to attack him. Nikkolas easily bested him but saw that with the death of Black Swan, the shadow could be freed and given a will of its own. The hero took the shadow to his sanctuary and after much toil and effort, managed to free the him from Black Swan's will. The shadow was horrified at the things it had done and vowed to only serve justice. He assumed the name of Shadesteel and set out to rid the city of evil.
