Character Bio

Henri Louis DeVerneau was an aspiring chef until the day he walked into the odd little "kitchen supply" shop in a small mountain village. There he found what he thought was a perfect tenderizer.
Little did he realize that he had wandered into a magical supplies store and that the "tenderizer" was in fact a magical weapon created and used by a hedge sorcerer who also had aspirations of being a chef. The sorcerer had also wanted to be a chevalier but that fell through as well.
The spirit of the sorcerer had taken up residence within the tenderizer and has decided to live vicariously through poor Henri forcing him to become a modern hero by protecting him with cooking fires and having him wield the tenderizer as a weapon.
He is also reveling in the delight of seeing a true chef at work.
