Space has a Terrible Power.

Nathaniel Johnson was a man without limits, and resolved to take it for his own. Convincing others to follow him into a perilous orbit was not a hard task. Surviving it was. During their fiery descent, Doctor Johnson sensed fantastic changes taking place in his body, and those of his companions. Everything was proceeding according to plan.

But the true adventure was just beginning. The mad genius discovered that his consciousness was no longer limited to his body, but rather had no boundaries at all. Free of a corporeal existence, he takes whatever he wills, usually by stealing the minds and bodies of his heroic counterparts and twisting them to his own idea of perfection.

The process, of course, is fatal. But power is eternal, and someday he will find the perfect host for his mad dreams. For he is no longer human. He is conceptual evil, a cautionary tale told to students and researchers alike. An undying, nightmare example of science gone wrong.
