There are times when the pursuit of knowledge is not to everyone's benefit.

Some dimensions are populated by strange beings, but injecting their DNA into lab animals can cause...interesting complications. when it began walking and talking, the Crey researchers realized that their creation was something special.

When it called the police and asked to be rescued, every else did too.

Now it patrols the streets, trying to find a connection to the other beings it sees. Evil, it seems, is universally despised.

At least it is still toilet trained. We think.
