Character Bio

Dr. Jacob Kennedy was once a Crey Biotech employee, attempting to devise a medical solution for the loss of memory so commonly associated with aging. However, a steady string of budget cuts and research setbacks threatened the shutdown of his division -- and his employment. Rather than risk being put out of work with the economy in the state it was, Jacob took the most recent iteration of the formula and injected himself with it. The chemicals transformed his brain into a sort of biological superconductor, wildly improving its potential to where he could command electricity and manipulate minds. Suddenly all too aware of what his employers would do if they knew what he had developed, Jacob Kennedy destroyed all research that could point to this discovery and fled into the night, adopting a new career as the hero Doctor Thunderbolt.
