Character Bio

In April of 1962 an Unidentified Flying Object crashed East of Las Vegas near Nellis Airforce Base. The Airforce recovered several bodies from the downed craft and transferred them to Yokota Airforce Base for a experiment to create human alien hybrids. The airforce succeeded in creating these hybrids, and found most of them to have abilities beyond human capabilities. In an effort to expand and control these powers, subdermal implants were used to great effect. The subjects of the experiment were put in groups of five, each group having one military director to guide the progress of the subjects. When the director of group 42 learned that the project and all subjects were to be terminated due to fear of the unpredictable nature of some of the powers, he decided to help group 42 escape. Each hybrid in the group going a different direction, Akami headed for Yokohama and stowed aboard a frieghter bound for the Rogue Isles, with the intent of one day returning to find out the fate of the others of group 42
