Character Bio

Yep,  Ray Beam is his real name.  His father, a costumed villain in the 1960's changed his last name (legally) so that he wouldn't become confused in public if someone called him by his civillian name...  making his secret identity completely public.Ray is a lot like his father;  none too bright but for the most part normal.  Ray doesn't want to hurt anyone, he works for comic book shop in Steel Canyon, parks his butt on the sofa to watch Stargate and Battlestar whenever they're on, but late one night he found a dying Kheldian who had been calling out to anyone passing by.  Thinking he could take the alien to the hospital, it merged with him almost immediately,  knocking Ray out cold. The alien,  in posession of Ray's body,  flew home and proceeded to empty the refrigerator,  the pantry and everything he could find to eat. Then he found his ultimate comfort food: Styrofoam Packing Noodles.Ray awoke to the painful passing of the packing noodles and then realiz
