Character Bio

Nick Court, Air Force Special Tactics Officer, Vanguard Special Ops Commander - a decorated hero who sacrificed everything for his world. Captured by the Rikti, Nick endured unimaginable torture, both physical and mental. Eventually freed, Nick was never the same, inflicted with an experimental Rikti drug - a photonic cell manipulator - slowly his body began to change. Driven mad by his captivity, he left the service and spiraled down into an abyss of crime and drugs. Eventually saved by heroes from the Legion of Valor, Nick was brought back from the edge of darkness and taught to control the alien powers caused by the Rikti drug. Nick leads a complicated life striving to protect his world and control his demons. He wears the tattered remnants of his Vanguard uniform as a constant reminder of his past.
