Character Bio

Laurel learned at a young age that she could play with fire.  I mean, really PLAY with fire. She could ignite objects as easily as she could snuff a flame out. When she started high school, a new ability manifested?she found she could speed up and slow things down at the atomic level. Without telling her parents, she began to hone her abilities in secret. Although she wanted to make a living as a landscape architect, she found it exciting to sneak out now and then to burn the bums of purse snatchers and car thieves. She ran into a couple of members of the Legion of Valor a few years back, and the rest is history.
