Character Bio

Cap Marlin was the saltiest fisherman Rhode Island had ever seen. Ignoring the weather reports and
advice of his pier peers, he braved the North Atlantic waters one fateful February in search of
Pokeface, a marlin of legendary size. Despite the warnings and omens against his endeavor, he
pushed on into the frigid waters. The Fates punished Cap for his hubris, smashing his boat against
a radioactive iceberg... while being struck by lightning. Pokeface, was impressed by his bravery,
however, and blessed Cap by smacking him in the face with his magical fin as Cap was blown
overboard. When he washed up on the beaches of Talos Island, Cap discovered he could control
ice and weather, the very elements that almost killed him! (He can also communicate with marlins
and tuna, but he has yet to find a practical use for that.)
