Character Bio

Ruby Washington worked as a researcher at the Paragon City Museum of Natural History. Late one night, as she was cataloging an ancient cache of pre-Sumerian artifacts, she came across a strange belt with a bright red gem embedded in it. The more she looked, the brighter the gem seemed to shine. Against all her professional judgement, she found herself compelled to put it on. Once she did, she found herself enveloped in bright flames, and realized the true nature of the belt -- it was imbued with the power of the phoenix by powerful spirits of justice. And so she takes to wing with a new job, and a new fire.
