Character Bio

Albert Marx was a shooting star in the world of finance.  He'd always done well in school and began to excel at a large banking firm.  But while his friends were more likely to spend their bonuses on flashy cars and glitzy entertainment, he prefered to collect antiquities and rare art.  When the market began to collapse, he realized what harm his company had done to the honest, hard-working people of the world.  He began to volunteer in soup kitchens, and give away his fortune, but even this was not enough.  In his apartment, he railed against his collection, bought with the suffering of others.  Spent and despairing, he found himself staring into his reflection in a surviving display case.  Slowly he realized that the ancient silver mask was staring back at him.  And it spoke to him, saying it could give him the power to make a difference directly against the injustices of the world.
