Annette LeGare was made to be a sacrifice to the Black Dragon that was plaguing the village of Ste. Michel. The villagers killed her father and mother and tied her to the sactrimental tree of char. When the dragon appeared she was terrified and her mutant gene was activated. Things didn't turn out so well for the dragon and the village that did this to her and her parents. The only thing that was left were ashes formed in images of where people once stood. After her firey burst of anxiety, she wanted to die. If not for a hermit who had seen the white hot explosion where the village stood, Annette would be dead. He took it upon himself to take care of her until she was able to cope with life again. Unfortunately life does not always go the way one plans. For a band of Council members killed her only true friend that cared for her. No one will replace him and no one stands in her way!
