Name: Ning Yi Age: 17
Ning came from a rich family in western China. She was an honor student in languages and writing. Her father was a great swordsman. He taught Ning the techniques passed down though the generations since she was 4 years old. She became a master herself at 16 and also discovered she had a magical ability to tap into the ancient spirit of the Golden Falcon. She told nobody of this. Her parents wanted her to go to the big city and run the family textile business but the spirit within her told her she had a greater purpose. That purpose was to defend the earth against the evil Rikti invasion. She knew of it from reading the international newsletters her uncle kept. One night she ran away by taking a train to the eastern coast and stowing aboard a ship. When she got to Paragon City she went directly to the Hero Registration.
