Character Bio

The Countessa Montis D'Aurum did not expect her husband Andre to try his Midas machine on himself. Obsessed with gold, the Count wanted to be able to turn whatever he touched into gold. Instead it transformed him into a creature with a lead and gold exoskeleton. Furthermore, the power that he used for his machine was drawn from dark quantum matter. This gave him the capability to maniplulate dark matter at will. Thus, using it for offensive and defensive actions. Not being able to love her husband as before the Countessa in her deep depression killed herself. The Count who loves his wife Sofia with all his heart and soul vowed to use his abilties to fight evil. Thus he made the choice to join the group of Paragon City heroes.
